Tentative Program

• Board of Directors catered dinner at Oaken Brow Plantation (all attendees welcome)
• Walk the grounds of the old St. John’s Episcopal Church in King George
• Board of Directors’ meetings

• Group tour of Ferry Farm, the former Strother Family property and boyhood home of George Washington, followed by a tour of historic Kenmore (the home of George Washington’s Brother-in-law, Fielding Lewis)
• Get acquainted social hour
• Dinner in historic downtown Fredericksburg

• Motor coach trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) National Headquarters ( DAR Constitution Hall). The museum and library are known as one of Washington, D.C.’s best-kept secrets. Genealogy workshops and special museum guided tours will be available to all participants. Catered lunch at the DAR Museum
• Tour of Camden plantation, a beautiful Victorian home on the Rappahannock River
• General membership meeting

• Tour of Milbank, site of former home of William Strother, the immigrant, in King George, Virginia
• Genealogy sessions
• Historian’s Display and Strother Store open during entire conference
• Awards dinner at hotel with prominent guest speaker, preceded by social hour and photo session.
