The Committee for the Preservation of Strother Family Photographs

Purpose: To collect and preserve photographs of people and places related
to the William Strother family. Utilizing electronic storage technology, the
committee is involved in a continuing project of scanning photographs and
archiving them for future generations.
The Committee to Search and Record Strother Burial Sites

Chairman: Elizabeth R. "Betty" Stewart |

Purpose: To collect location and content information about
cemeteries where Strother family members are buried. Cemeteries are subject
to destruction from various sources, and this committee is charged with collecting
all information about a cemetery with respect to its location, condition, ownership
and contents.
The Military Affairs Committee

Chairman: William A. Strother |

Purpose: To collect information about the military service of members of the
Strother family and maintain a permanent record of such information which
will support the genealogical studies of the Strother family in the future.
The Honors Committee

Purpose: To arrange for the honoring of outgoing presidents of the Society and to recommend to the president others to be honored by the Society and the manner of honoring them
The English Ancestry Committee

Purpose: To search for the ancestors of William Strother, the immigrant.
